I'm sorry he apologized. And it's just ridiculous to try to make this about race...

By the way, you forgot to include the author's name for this piece!

All publishing is dross these days. Okay maybe 92.6%. The covers all look the same. The stories are all by women. And they all have a woman as a protagonist that overcomes tremendous odds including sheer stupidity.

I recently read the extraordinarily vapid The Jill’s, which the blurb said was a propulsive first novel. I guess propulsive has been redefined as silly and regurgitating every trope about witless cheerleaders. But hey, it was written as a debut novel by a graduate of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop and had tons of NGO sugar daddy support so apparently It. Was. Important. Yes I did read the end and it was as silly as the rest of the wretched tome.

But apparently this is what the publishers want because they must feel every one of the readers in the country is stone cold stupid and non thinking.

Anyway Mrs Gurdon. My son has written and self published à children’s book call The Ant and the Apple. He wrote it for his daughter. It’s very well done and I’m going to send a copy to you. No wokey crap in evidence.
